The one-handed, Z-shape fold is easy to fold and it's extremely compact once you've mastered it. It takes a few only a few seconds to unfold. Our test subject found the auto-lock a little difficult to understand, and also because the handlebar doesn't lock into the position you push it into to the side, it struck her leg when she was using it. She also felt the handlebar was a little too short, especially with a big changing bag hanging off it.

As opposed to other light travel buggies, this doesn't skimp on features. It's one of the most feature-packed double strollers on the market. It can be used with two carrycots (available separately), features several recline positions and has a UV 50+ canopy. You can add a bassinet on one or both seats to make this an ideal travel system.

The four tires made of rubber are great for pavements as well as urban terrain. However, they're not made for off-roading. They had a hard time with long grass and gravel and there wasn't enough clearance between the wheel bracket and wheel which meant that mud could get stuck easily. However our testers still enjoyed the buggy and did climb some pretty hilly terrains.

Our testers found the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to manoeuvre, even when taking on uneven ground or turning quickly in an area with a lot of traffic. They were also impressed by the fact that both seats recline independently, meaning they can be adjusted to suit individual needs - ideal for napping.

They also liked that the hoods could be moved back and forward, which made them easier to adjust in the sun or for wind protection. They didn't offer as much coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It's probably worth packing an extra rain cover inside the case.

Overall, our testers were impressed by the Nipper luxury Double Stroller's capacity to allow them to take their twin daughters Sydney and Lyla to all kinds of adventures. From spotting wildlife in a forest or rushing to a park to play with their friends, they loved it. They were also awed by how cozy and spacious the two seats are with plenty of space for toddlers to stretch out in. The lack of parent facing seating and the inability to use a car seat with this buggy were noted as a problem by our testers. They would have also liked to see a larger storage area for shopping and other gear.
