The S8 Pro Ultra's cleaning power is a bit short of our top choice Roomba's iRobot J7+. However, it's nonetheless a capable and versatile machine that is well worth considering.

The app allows you to create a 3D model of your house, set no-go zones and schedule specific cleaning schedules. The app also provides the running record of cleaning times and the area covered and lets you see the performance of each room and areas. You can assign a specific cleaning mode to each area. If you have an Echo device or other smart speaker, you can use it to add voice control using Alexa or Google Assistant.

2. iRobot Roomba j7+

3. Ecovacs Deebot T10 Omni

The Deebot T10 Omni is a sleek robot that offers impressive cleaning performance. It has a suction power of 5000Pa and is equipped with a primary floating brush and dual-sided brushes that make quick work of dirt on hard floors and in corners. It has a strong battery that can power both mopping and vacuuming and has the capability to return to its dock when in power shortage. Smart features include a home map, 3D mapping and automatic cleaning schedules.

The T10 Omni, like other Deebot models uses an additional tank to wash and dry its mopping pad in order to prevent cross-contamination. The tank for cleaning can hold up to 4L of clean water, which is enough to cover about 400m2. It features a unique design that allows it to refill and drain without touching the pad or getting wet.

The T10's intelligent mapping technology is one of the features that sets it apart from other robot vacuums. It creates a precise 3D map of the layout of your home. This enables the robot to more accurately identify obstacles and adjust its navigation process, which enhances the overall efficiency of cleaning.

The ECOVACS App is simple to use, and offers various settings that can be customized. The only drawback is that it does not come with a remote control, which some might find frustrating.

The T10 OMNI is a great job of removing pet hair. After two cleaning cycles, it was able remove the majority of pet hair from my carpets. It even managed to maneuver around furniture that was blocking its path.

The T10 Omni is a great option for anyone who wants a robot vacuum and mop that can empty it. The mop has the same power as the vacuums, and it comes with a more appealing design than Roomba. The T10's intelligent features are more than enough to make up for the absence of the remote. You can quickly start or stop a cleansing cycle or schedule it and change device settings with the app.

4. Shark ION XL

The ION XL, Shark's most sophisticated self-emptying robot vacuum, is a fantastic choice for those who want to clean their homes without having to lift a finger. It also has exceptional performance. The robot vacuum has a big bin that can store one month's worth of dirt and the base can be set to automatically empty it at the end of every cleaning session for storage that lasts longer. The ION XL robot vacuum is one of the most versatile available. It can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It can be controlled using an app or voice commands, and you can even create the map of your house to clean each room at the click of a button. The robot does well at getting around furniture and even navigate stairs and fully-carpeted rooms effortlessly.

I tested the ION XL in a kitchen and family room with hardwood flooring, area rugs, and a standard debris test. It did an excellent job vacuuming and removing pet hair, debris and even some of the most stubborn carpet crumbs. It also did a great job in maneuvering around my bar stools and didn't get in the way of them like the iRobot j7+ did in this test. The only issue with the ION XL is that it does not detect cords, shoes or toys that are in its path. It is necessary to clean your home prior to when you start this robotic vacuum if you want it to avoid them.

The ION XL robotic cleaner is not as intelligent as the iRobot j7+, but it's an excellent option if you do not want to spend more than $500 on a robotic. It's better than the eufy RoboVac 11S, in many ways. It's more easy to maintain and has lower monthly costs. It is also better in vacuuming floors that are not clean and removing pet fur, but not as effective on low- or carpets with higher pile.

It's not as well-built however it's an excellent option. The ION XL has a large bin capacity, and it can be controlled via an app and voice commands, and it is simple to keep up with routine maintenance. It's also a reasonable price.
