1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a name as the ultimate lightweight buggy for jet-setters and city dwellers alike, thanks to its extremely nimble handling and foldable design that can be tucked away in aeroplane overhead luggage. The most recent version features independent suspension on all four wheels that is made from Hytrel elastomer that allows it to perfectly navigate through all kinds of surfaces and terrain'.

The YOYO2 frame base with a curved fabric bassinet as well as a six-month color pack create a stylish pushchair that is easy on the eyes and has a subtle but elegant design and a tasteful branding. The frame's weight alone is less than a kilo and is so light that you can easily lift it from the box (and do it using one hand).

The Xplore also has two canopies that rotate from front to back, ensuring ample sun coverage for all family members. It also has a footwell that is not as deep or large as some wagons, so it may not be ideal for long trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy but it does not flex as much as other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and does not lock tightly after folding. It is easy to maneuver, though, and it can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want an affordable, second-hand travel stroller. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and folded size which means it's light, compact when folded and easy to move into a car trunk or closet. It also features a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other features of note include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels as well as two large hanging storage bags.

It did better in our push and turn test than most of the other strollers we tested, but was still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage, and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to assemble with an average manual, and none of the components required tools. It's lacking certain features we consider essential for double strollers. They include a large basket, reclining seats and adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the most recent version of Maxi-Cosi's pushchair single range and is billed as an urban travel system. The seat can be reclined using one hand and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to take their child in and out. This narrow pushchair handled every day bumps and doors effortlessly.

The front wheels can be locked in an forward position or allow them to swivel which can be helpful when crossing rough terrain. While walking along the stony path we let them move and it did this quite well, although it seemed a little bumpier than others that we tested.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most famous for its three-wheeled, all-terrain, strollers for jogging. However, they also make a broad range of 4-wheeler pushchairs. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It folds easily and fits into the trunk of a car even with the carrycot attached.

It's a little heavier than other strollers we tested but the wheels are a rubber composite, so it feels sturdy and sturdy. It is able to maneuver effortlessly across all types of terrain and it's easy to move, even when loaded with two children and a shopping bag.

Both the carrycot and seat have hoods that can be lowered to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are strong and waterproof, in contrast to other prams hoods which can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.

It does not have much storage space but it has a large basket deep enough to hold a change bag or a large amount of groceries. You can also pair it with the Baby Jogger car seat for infants up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are available separately). The canopy/seat has two large sun visors that can be fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. However, the toggle closure isn't perfect it's not as quiet as Velcro and can wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is a stroller with an angled design that can be used by twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and works with a few carrycots. In twin-mode, the seats can be positioned to face one another or be turned around to face the parents, theoretically decreasing sibling rivalries over who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a massive bottle holder, a gear tray as well as snack trays and the ability to change mats. It also comes with a compact stand fold and automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2
