Which Lightweight Double Pushchair Should You Buy?

A lightweight double pushchair is easy to get around, particularly for families with children of various age groups. They are easy to fold, steer and carry up and down the stairs.

Double pushchairs with side-by-side seating aren't 100% foolproof, howeverwhen your children are of the same age or stage, they may still fight over who gets to ride in which seat. If they're different heights, a tandem model could be more suitable for them since it lets them confront each other.

Tandem

While side-by-side models are better suited for siblings with similar ages tandem pushchairs are light and lightweight twin stroller, and offer their own perks. Tandem strollers are light and lightweight. They generally have a more precise turning compared to side-byside models. However, they could be harder to drive on uneven surfaces or curbs. They can also be slower to accelerate and are heavier to move. This can put stress on your back.

A convertible double buggy is another alternative. It starts out as a single but you can also add adapters to make it a double umbrella stroller. It can have an additional seat or carrycot on the front or children can be seated side-by-side. Some of them also have the option to add a buggy board, which could help older children keep up with younger siblings.
