World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are a key element of enhancing your character. Upgrades increase the base damage as well as enhancements of items.

They also provide bonuses and enhancements. The Blacksmith is able to sell them to you.

The upgrade button is available on any item. Every recycled Best item upgrade adds one level to the upgrade gauge.

Weapon

When an item level upgrade is upgraded, it is granted a base damage bonus and a scaling factor that influences other stats. The weapon can also gain a number of upgrade components, which provide additional effects or attributes and some even have distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets, and gathering tools. Most require that the equipment have an upgrade slot available and meet certain requirements. The upgrade component can be removed from an armored weapon, weapon, or trinket, but it cannot be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). upgrade item components can be retrieved by using the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or a higher-tier salvaging tool that is attached to an item.

In addition to the standard upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded using a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Depending on the weapon tier the process can be repeated up to four times.

When the weapon reaches its maximum upgrade it can be modified to give different effects and bonuses or to boost specific stats. These upgrades can be used simultaneously, and their effects will vary depending on how rare the weapon is.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both upgrade materials differ: Smithing Stones to modify the kind of damage weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to modify the standard weapons.

Generally, it is advised to improve weapon damage first, then armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats as required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons prior to upgrading other gear. This can help increase DPS. This is particularly true for enchantments that can enhance a weapon's stats and damage.

Armor

Item upgrades allow players to boost the stats of specific weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades may also provide additional effects, for example, more damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item upgrades are available through crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors or loot drops, or as rewards for quests.

The upgrade item of armor can be done by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currencies. In the majority of cases the armor will be upgraded to the next tier once an upgrade items is applied. This can be done for most types of armor, however certain items are not upgradeable at all (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).

The majority of armor upgrades boost the best item upgrade's defense or strength by just a little. Some upgrade components, however, can lead to significant increases in defense or strength. This is especially true when upgrading epic items.

Certain upgrades grant specific abilities that can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be very beneficial in combat. For example they can increase attack speed or block. Certain upgrades can have passive effects that are useful like the ability to reduce damage while wearing armor or enhancing the chance of avoiding an attack.

Upgrades to armor can require multiple attempts, depending on the type of armor. If a player is looking to upgrade Steelclash armor into Dragonscale, then the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with an armor base defense of 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor with a base defense between 67-77 and it goes on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do so players must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations holds the power of a fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.

Despite popular belief armor isn't useless in The Division 2. The reality is that some armors have very significant boosts to poison, curse, fire or magic damage reduction, which makes them invaluable for certain types of builds. There are other ways to boost the stats of armor besides upgrading the armor, like using the engineer trait to increase armor penetrating or the challenger to reduce the weight of the entire armor.

Potion

When you put a potion into a stand for brewing, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a new level of potion effects, and can be repeated to unlock more potency levels.

The potion also gets a custom color code, which the player can select by using /give. This alters the area-of-effect clouds and arrows generated by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, mundane, thick and awkward potions now have a new texture of brewing. In the Creative Inventory, potion healing and potion weakness have been added. Addition of lingering potions, that can be prepared by using splash potions or Dragon breath. Also included is a thick potion which has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Trinket

A trinket can be an inexpensive, small ornament or piece of jewelry. It can be a ring or necklace. Or even a small banner that marks the yard of a lateen boat. It can also refer to a gold-plated trinket on the mast of a ship.

This bizarre trinket is believed to be influencing denizens in this maze by making them more common. This trinket, at present, makes all kinds of Xx of mimics more prevalent and gives each floor an probability of Y% that it will contain an ebony replica. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.

The magic of this enchanted scepter appears to be affecting the dungeon itself and making it more likely to generate water and grass. This trinket, at its current level, will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It will not affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed weapons or armor or items that are generated to aid in the elimination of hazards rooms.

While it appears like an ordinary eye of a newt, this mystical item seems to be affecting your vision in ways beyond simply reducing your field of view. At its current level this trinket increases the overall health benefits of drinking potions of healing, waterkins, and wells of health by X% and grants mind vision on enemies within the Y tiles. This does not stack with the Heightened Senses.

Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you've completed the Mastery Cave. You will find them when you defeat Monsters, and in chests and crates. They cannot be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket into the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will cause an unpredictable effect on the trinket either extending its lifespan or enhancing its effects. You can reforge an item multiple times as often as you wish, however it will always have an effect that is different from the one you had when you made it.

You can also enhance your Trinkets by placing them in a Magical Catalyst located at the Alchemy Station. It will cost you 6 energy, but will increase the power of the trinkets by a small amount.
