The price is more expensive than the other options, but our test subject said it was worth it since it's tough and can withstand even the most challenging trips.

Three-wheelers are a great choice for a stroller that is light and can still handle some more rough terrain. The Thule Shine is a good choice, and we called it a previous winner in this category. It's more expensive than our other choices but it's a solid product and has many features (car seat compatible! dual cup holders!) This makes it a great purchase. It can also be folded down to fit in the overhead bins of airplanes, making it an excellent choice for families that travel frequently.

The BOB Sport Utility

The BOB Sport Utility is the ideal stroller for parents who want to step off the beaten track and exercise. This jogging stroller comes with pneumatic knobby wheels that are perfect for trail runs, and the handbrake allows you to manage the downhills. It also boasts a state-of-the-art suspension system and a two-step folding design, and an enormous cargo basket. If you buy the correct adapters, you can use it with a child car seat.

This jogging stroller's biggest flaw is its weight and fold dimensions. It weighs 25 pounds and folds down to 17,850 cubic inch, which is the average for this group. Its size makes it unsuitable for tight turns or small trunk spaces, though it has a small handle near the back of the basket that can be pulled to fold it into a compact, flat position.

This stroller is easy to maneuver despite its size. The front wheel features the ability to lock it so that you switch it from normal to locked running mode, and the handlebar is adjustable in height to accommodate different heights of parents. It also comes with a wide seat that can recline to nearly flat, and it also has a large vinyl peek-a-boo window that is easy to open and close.

Another plus is the Sport Utility's outstanding quality that earned it a 9 of 10 in this measure. It features a sturdy frame made of aluminum, with tight connections, smooth edges and no poor stitching. It also has adjustable shocks which aid in smooth-rolling performance.

The Sport Utility stroller, like the other BOBs in this review comes with adapters for car seats. This lets you use it with a variety of infant car seats. It took us 5:24 minutes during our tests to assemble the stroller from packing it up to getting it ready to go. It was simple enough to complete, but you'll need an Philips head screwdriver to complete the task. The manual provided is well-organized and clear, but it's good just to have one in case.

The Baby Trend Expedition

The design is crafted with safety, style and convenience in mind, this jogger features a parent tray with 2 cup holders, a covered storage, and a swing away tray for the child that includes two cup holders. The adjustable canopy, with its peek-aboo windows and extra-wide ergonomically-shaped handle, provides comfort for both parents. The front wheel lockable can be locked while strolling, and locked for jogging. The large storage basket is ideal for storing the essential items you need to travel with.

In the Strollers test program at Consumer Reports, the Baby Trend Expedition jogger performs well overall, for its price, and scores higher than its competition in various categories. The 5-point harness, folding, unfolding, adjusting backrest, braking the wheel and infant car seat installation and removal (only compatible models) are all included. It's designed with an easy recline with one hand, that is sufficient for napping. However the canopy cover that ratchets isn't always easy to fix. It takes about 8 minutes to put it in place. The instructions are confusing, with several languages mixed in with difficult-to-read drawings.

The only negative about this jogger is that it doesn't come with suspension, which means the ride may be bumpier than other all-terrain strollers we've tested. This might make it more uncomfortable for toddlers, especially when they're on close to napping. It does have air-filled tires however they don't offer the same shock absorption like the rubber wheels that are found on strollers that are more expensive.

This is a great choice for those who don't want to run a lot but would like to walk over grass and gravel easily and without issues with curbs or other obstacles. It's also a great option for families with limited space as it folds down into a compact size. It's lighter than a lot of the other joggers that we've tested, and will fit in places where some large strollers aren't able to.

It's also simpler to lift and move than the bulkier joggers that we have tried. This is important for if you need to lift it into and out of your car trunk regularly or if you are always on the move.

The Nipper is light and compact making it easy to transport and fold.

This pushchair is equipped with a handlebar and front suspension, which makes it perfect for all kinds of terrains. It also has an adjustable recline seat with a removable quilted seat liner, along with a five-point safety harness and hinged bumper bar. It also works with travel systems, meaning you can use it with the Cybex Maxi-Cosi and Be-Safe baby car seat.

The buggy also features a large front wheel which helps to provide an easy ride for the child. This is essential, especially when you are tackling difficult terrain. It lets the buggy to track better and glide more easily over bumps and dips. In addition to this it is also the case that the Nipper Sport is also very easy to drive. The handlebar is ergonomically designed and has an easy-lock brake with a single pedal and adjustable steering. The buggy is also easy to fold, and comes with clear step-by-step directions and photos in the user's manual.

The Nipper Sport is designed for children aged up to six months. It can be used by a baby because of the integrated insert. However, it is not recommended for use with babies under six months because the harness of the seat isn't tight enough to safely keep them.

Another issue with this model is its lack of a storage basket underneath the seat. The small shopping bag at the rear of the seat is not large enough to accommodate a larger changing pouch. It's very simple to open and close. Two hand-holds are needed to release the plastic catch that is located on either side of the lower frame. There is also a secondary lock catch on the handlebar in red that can be loosened with just one hand, making it extremely practical to use.
