Our test subject Claire was impressed by the neat packaging, easy-to-open and found it one of the quickest and easiest pieces of baby gear to put together. She took it for a spin around some tough terrain and was extremely pleased with its performance.

Seats

Most 3 wheel pushchair sale wheel double buggies begin as single pushchairs. However, some can be modified to accept the second seat using adapters. Some models allow you to add an additional board for older kids who are ready to walk, but require a little help.

It's an all-terrain pushchair with a soft suspension, which makes light work of bumpy surfaces. It can accommodate a massive 30 seating configurations, and has a built-in ride-on for older kids who prefer walking, as well as a 'cinema' seating mode which raises the back seat to allow for better visibility.

Alternately, the phil&teds dots is a brilliant single buggy from the beginning that can then easily adapt to take 2 (or 3!) in multiple configurations. This is especially helpful for parents who have children in a car. The frame can be affixed to a wedgie, which permits the best lie-flat position. Or car seat adapters that work with many brands.

Suspension

Folding
